Check the file before you run it

Compare the file's SHA-256 with the value on this page. In PowerShell, in the folder that holds the file, run:

Get-FileHash .\Yapnap-0.1.0-portable.exe -Algorithm SHA256

The checksum is published with the release.

First run

  1. Windows may show a SmartScreen warning, because the file is not signed yet. Choose More info, then Run anyway.
  2. Yapnap opens Yapin' in its own window. Log in as usual.
  3. Press Ctrl+, to open Yapnap's settings inside Yapin'.

Why the file is not hosted here

Cloudflare Pages accepts files up to 25 MB, and the Yapnap file is larger. The release file lives on GitHub Releases, and this page links to it.
